Darlene Mack joined the cm&b team in 1995 as C.F.O. Since then she has also held the title of Director of Marketing and has recently been named Chief Strategy Officer. As C.S.O., Darlene will assist the President and executives of cm&b in analyzing current operating systems, developing short-term and long-term corporate goals, formulating an action plan and executing a strategy to achieve results.

Darlene earned a B.S. degree in Accounting from Boston College and went on to obtain her C.P.A. license. Her accounting and finance background was the perfect fit for cm&b's early days when many of the company's cost control systems and procedures were being established. At a time when it fit both the needs of the company and her own, Darlene switched roles to work as Director of Marketing where she could use her familiarity of the company, its history and her own job experience in a more creative way. As C.S.O., Darlene will draw on her past experience in these various roles with cm&b to take on special projects and proactively make enhancements to the company's current operating systems and manage the plan needed to reach specific corporate goals.

At work or at home Darlene likes to be busy and try new things. The mom of four busy kids, she enjoys being a part of all of their activities and volunteering at their school. She has always enjoyed sports and is an avid runner with one Boston Marathon under her belt. In the last few years she has traded the distance running to compete in local 5k races instead. Following her sons' lead and passion for hockey Darlene recently joined a women's hockey league and loves the excitement and camaraderie of playing a team sport again.
