Stephen Krauss has 25 years of design and construction accounting experience.  As CFO, Steve directs  cm&b's overall financial policies and oversees all of the company's financial functions. In addition, Steve is responsible for the coordination of cm&b's Information Technology consultants. 

Steve holds a BS in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Accounting and Management from Northeastern University.  While a student participating in Northeastern's co-operative program, Steve began his accounting career as a Project Accountant.  Choosing to stay in the construction field, Steve has served as Regional Controller, Corporate Controller and is presently cm&b's Chief Financial Officer.

In the office, Steve may not participate in the hands on work taking place in the field but when he gets home it's a completely different story.  The proud owner of a shop full of tools that would make even Bob Vila and Ty Pennington drool, Steve has been honing his woodworking skills since his high school shop days.  He only wishes he had more time to dedicate to his favorite hobby but it's been tough fitting everything in.  Steve continues to coach youth soccer as he has done for the past 9 years while chipping away at his very respectable handicap.  And then there's the entertainment center he's promised his wife he'd build for their family room…
