OSCO Drug Stores

For a period of over 10 years, cm&b was the chosen general contractor in the Northeast region for OSCO Drug Stores. During that time cm&b performed more than 75 major construction projects totaling close to 1 million SF of new construction, owner occupied renovations and “four-wall” remodels.

• Performed pre-construction program management and general construction services for the ground-up construction of 45 new OSCO Drug stores opened in the New England area.
• 30 completed owner occupied store renovations/additions providing design/build and value engineering services to achieve OSCO’s budget objectives. Various project challenges included extensive planning and phasing of work to allow stores to remain in full operation throughout construction, performing off hours as well as 24 hour shifts to accommodate an accelerated schedule. 
• Awarded the OSCO Drug One Hour Photo department installation program for over 75 locations throughout New England. Completed within condensed phases to coordinate with store advertising campaign.
• Selected construction management firm to assist design team with a prototype store, meeting strict financial criteria and addressing aesthetic concerns specific to New England region.
• Multiple Pharmacy expansions and upgrades.
• Pre-site survey, property security and maintenance through post construction.
• Managed annual maintenance construction program for several years for the entire New England region.
