Whole Foods Market Distribution Center-Richmond, CA

cm&b is proud to partner with repeat client, Whole Foods Market, on the construction of their new distribution center located in Richmond, CA.

Using concrete tilt-up construction with onsite casting, the cm&b team was able to erect wall panels for the building in less than two weeks. Upon completion, the distribution center will boast several dock bays, storage and racking spaces. Scope includes full site work (grading, site utilities, paving and landscaping), along with the construction of mechanical and administrative areas. Designed to LEED Silver Standards, the project is being constructed using FSC certified wood, low VOC materials, construction waste diversion, recycled materials and a white roof with high solar reflectance.

Since our relationship with Whole Foods Market began in 1999, cm&b has completed over 100 projects for the national organic grocer.  Projects have included new store construction, acquisition conversions, major occupied renovations, department renovations, ADA upgrades and maintenance/service work throughout New England, Northern California, the Mid-Atlantic and Arizona.  We look forward to working with Whole Foods Market on future projects as they continue their aggressive national expansion.
