Whole Foods Market- Darien, CT
The cm&b team began work at the site of a new Whole Foods Market in Darien, CT in July 2009. Necessary site improvements included blasting, ledge removal and foundations. The ground up construction of the 50,000 sf stand alone LEED Silver registered store is scheduled for completion in May 2010. cm&b is also performing the nearby off ramp reconstruction and widening at Exit 11 off of I95 as well as signalization for the intersection of Rt 1 and Ledge Road as part of the project.
Whole Foods Market, a world leader in natural and organic food sales, was founded in Austin, TX in 1980 and now boasts more than 270 stores in North America and the United Kingdom. cm&b has partnered with this industry icon on more than 50 projects ranging from small renovations to new stores throughout New England and Northern California.

Ground up construction of a new, free standing 3,500 SF Friendly's Restaurant including structural wall panels and roof trusses, interior and exterior finishes, masonry, concrete floors, doors, windows and MEPs.
