The Fresh Market- Scarsdale, NY
cm&b is proud to partner with repeat client, The Fresh Market, on the construction of their new store in Scarsdale, NY.
The demolition of an Old Navy store, renovation and fit up of the 21,000 sf space located in an open shopping center began in July 2011. During the demolition phase, unknown building elements were discovered but the cm&b team was able to identify the issues, provide solutions and make the necessary adaptations. Scope includes upgrading the existing roof structure and construction of a new storefront structure. Multi-phased shoring operations were needed to reshape the building's front and during construction of a new elevator shaft.
The Scarsdale project marks the fifth time The Fresh Market has turned to cm&b for their construction needs. The cm&b team has completed projects in Westport CT, Hingham MA, Latham NY and Montvale NJ for the North Carolina-based specialty grocer, and we look forward to working with The Fresh Market on future projects as they continue their national expansion.
